Water balloon flip flops

Every Wednesday, I get an email from Tipnut.com ... she puts together a whole page full of crafts and ideas. (You should go there and sign up! click here )

A week or so ago - she had ideas for Flip Flops. I found this one and thought they were so cute, I had to try them! 

I found a tub of water balloons at Wal-Mart (you need to use the smaller water balloon size - regular balloons are too big - I tried). Get a pair of flip-flops and just start adding them. It is a bit tricky to tie the small balloons into a double knot, but it is do-able. And your fingers end up smelling like balloons! ha 

Note: I do believe that water balloons are thinner than regular ones, so I did have a few tear on me. Not a problem - there are plenty of them in the tub I bought. But it does make me think that these are not going to last season after season. Just something to keep in mind.
